Meet Our Team | Alpha Court Reporting & Video
Ginger heard about court reporting while in college, when a professor told her she would be “stupid” to get a marketing degree, that she should try court reporting instead. She checked it out and realized it was the perfect career for her.
She started reporting in 1979, and in 1981, along with her partner at the time, founded Alpha Reporting Service.
Originally from Houston, Missouri, a very small town, one of the things she enjoyed most about reporting was the opportunity to travel all over the United States while taking depositions, even to St. Thomas on a very interesting case.
In the past few years, she has concentrated on administrative tasks and given up reporting. She misses the constant interaction with attorneys, but enjoys the challenges of developing Alpha into a full-service agency.
She and her husband, Bruce, live on a farm/ranch north of Joplin and raise purebred Angus cattle and, in their spare time, like to travel, watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and spend time with their children and grandchildren.
Kyle is the newest member of the Alpha staff. He is in charge of the new video department. He loves gadgets and all things technology
Kyle is originally from Higginsville, Missouri, and has a degree in Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He and his wife, Amy, have two children, Izzy and Spencer, and they enjoy trips to Silver Dollar City, local parks, and attending the kids’ activities in their spare time.
Erica is in charge of production of transcripts and she ensures the office is running smoothly.
She is originally from St. Peter, Illinois, and has been with Alpha since 2009. Her favorite part of her job is developing friendships with the reporters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and shopping – and before kids, she used to enjoy reading. She also teaches a Zumba class.
Erica and husband, Matt, have two sons, Kasen and Camdon, along with Kitty Kitty.
